Namue isn’t not one of these faceless private equity funds looking to buy and flip a business for quick profit. His approach focuses on buying a business where he can commit to supporting the existing team, customers, and community. He wants to grow and add value, but in a way that respects what already works and in partnership with the people who know the business best.

Namue Kata – Principal & Founder
Namue is the founder and principal of Berm Ventures where his focus is on acquiring and operating essential businesses. His primary goal is to meet a business where it’s at, with respect, and apply his skillset where appropriate to enable sustainable growth. His background spans operational finance, strategy, and operations management – helping businesses grow revenue, operate more efficiently, and increase profitability.
At Berm, he personally meets with sellers from day one. His goal is to understand the business and what makes it work – the people, the processes, and the values. He believes in people-first leadership, learning from team and cultivating ideas together to improve business outcomes.
